About OBOR

Connecting China and the world through an open, win-win platform

The Belt and Road Initiative draws on the spirit of the ancient Silk Road, connecting countries in a new era through infrastructure, policy coordination, trade and financial cooperation, and people-to-people exchange.

One Belt One Road

The Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road aim to build a community of shared interests, shared destiny and shared responsibility — a path of peace, prosperity, openness, innovation and civilization that resolves differences through dialogue and creates opportunity through cooperation.

We strengthen the connections between members, chambers of commerce, departments and organizations along the Belt and Road — promoting business exchange, economic and technological cooperation, information sharing and resource integration to build a coordinated, win-win service platform for local and international enterprises.
